Moses and Hassana Gago, married in 1985, have three wonderful children with whom they have served, and still serve, the Lord Jesus Christ together. Their children, Mercy, Bullus, and Yakubu, are great helpers in the work since founding. They are blessed with gifts of the Spirit and the Lord has confirmed His Word in their lives with signs following.
In 2002, the Lord Jesus appeared to Moses Gago in a vision and commanded him three times: "Preach My Word." After that experience, Moses and Hassana founded the Finger of God Goodnews Ministry with the vision: Raise Up the Standard of Our Lord Jesus Christ in our Generation and Time. For the next two years, they began preparation for the work, and by 2004, work had begun in earnest. The Ministry is blessed with several other Pastors and Ministers whom God is using mightily, and are also great helpers in the work of the LORD.
Moses Gago
Moses Gago is a teacher of the Word of God who has preached and taught in several countries. His early upbringing was that of a Muslim in Northern Nigeria. Since accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord over three decades ago, Moses has had several encounters with the LORD, and these encounters have helped him to discover the great love of Christ through the several persecutions for his and family members’ faith and the difficult and unusual medical challenges of one of his children who drank caustic soda. The situations of every family member were doubtless touched by the finger of God, and by His grace, the whole family of five is still alive and intact together. Moses' legal and theological disciplines are a combination of what he calls "natural bedfellows" which have equipped him to teach the Word of God in its purest but simple form.
Hassana Gago
Hassana Gago was also born and raised in a Muslim family, but grew up in Christian environment, in the Evangelical Churches of West Africa (ECWA Church) in Nigeria. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and served in Church for most of her life. In July 1997, Hassana had a brush with death whereby she was caught up in an out-of-body experience and was told that her days on the earth were finished. She saw herself in heaven, which was bright and real. As a token of the reality of her experience, she was shown two prominent women on the earth whose days were also finished. She was told that she would be sent back to the earth to serve God with her husband who was praying for her. About a month later, both women (Mother Theresa and Princess Diana, the Princess of Wales) were dead within about one week of each other.
